For Daily Life…

“Many are the things that must be daily done. Meet me therefore, O Lord, in the doing of the small repetitive tasks.”

These words articulate this past month of my life. Busy in the small repetitive tasks. From morning breakfast to school assignments, from responding to emails to folding laundry, these small task fill up each 24 hour day. There is much joy and many overwhelmed tears, yet of one thing I can be sure when we labor for the Lord we never labor in vain (1 Cor. 15:58). Never. No matter the task or the time of day. This is an extraordinary promise to recall in the mundane task of life. When we labor for the Lord, there is never a task that is in vain.

So whether I find myself reading another 100 pages for school or taking product picture of things we pray would sell, it is not in vain. So if you find yourself changing another diaper or answering the same question for the tenth time today, it is not in vain. This has been something my mind frequently forgets, yet is what my heart needs to know. Life though busy with an every increasing list of tasks to complete, there is purpose in it all. It is not in vain, worthless, of no value. So keep on in the daily small repetitive task for Your Heavenly Father who sees in secret will reward you one day.

Below are a few updates in the many places we find our feet, each with their own prayer request.

School: We are halfway through our final term of this spring semester. Taking three classes is not easy, yet there has been much discipline received and knowledge obtained. Only four more weeks and summer break begins. Pray for endurance to finish well!

Till Glory: We are so thank for the opportunity to create. It has been so fun to watch the process of wood becoming something beautiful. We finished our first custom order, with many more to work on. We also started a store on Etsy (it’s still in the works). Pray that the Lord continues to bless our business and give us us opportunities to create for His Glory!

Church: What a sweet season it has been as we serve the local body the Lord has placed us in. We are nearing the end of the Kids Choir and to see these talents the Lord has given each of these children has blessed my soul in ways inexpressible. Pray that these kids would grow to know and love the Lord with everything inside of them!

Personal: Need a date night idea? Purchase a paint by number. Jake and I have been working once a week for an hour on our paint by number. It’s a Yak! Still have many more date nights to finish it, but it has been so fun to paint and enjoy conversation with each other. Pray that God would be glorified in our everyday life!
